All three of the new quick3D version 4.0 products include support for a huge range of file formats, ranging from today's major formats to the most obscure.

| Version 4.0 expands upon the wide range of supported 3D modeling, animation, and CAD/CAM file formats. Supported formats now include 3D Studio MAX®, Truespace®, RenderWare®, DXF™, Alias|Wavefront™, Cinema 4D®, DirectX®, Softimage|XSI®, Lightwave®, Renderman®, OpenFlight®, 3D GameStudio™, Quake™ 1-3, AC3D, STL, PLY, OFF, VTK, and BYU, among others.

| Animation features are now available in version 4.0 of the quick3D software family products.
All three include a new animation panel, featuring frame selection and animation controls.
quick3D Professional's upgraded 3D translation engine can convert animations currently for the Quake (.mdl .md2 and .md3) and 3D GameStudio (.mdl) file formats, and for many more formats soon through auto-update.
